What is Classroom Intelligence?

Vidya treats class engagement as a data stream. While observing class participation over time, Vidya can provide essential data points for all stakeholders, enabling them to look at the right places at the right time, and take intelligent, proactive actions.

Vidya Score

Every time a teacher engages with students in a Vidya session, they generate multiple data points for each student and the whole class. Each data point (such as attendance, correctness, attempts, etc) uncovers a specific aspect of the class but does not tell the entire story. To simplify understanding the health of each lecture, Vidya uses its in-house algorithm to generate the “Vidya Score”. This simplifies the experience by providing a single metric to understand the overall performance. 

Below is how each stakeholder leverages the classroom intelligence via Vidya -

1. Educators 

Teaching is hard, and teaching online is even harder. Vidya enables educators with retrospective data points for their classes and insights into the different categories of students

   

Teachers can thus look back at each week/month and identify any changing class engagement or understanding trends. 

Once any attention-worthy topics are identified, teachers can spend more time refining those areas while constantly measuring the impact of their re-training and efforts. 

Additionally, teachers can identify students in the below four categories to figure out which students should get more attention or appreciation. 

2. Administrators 

1.  Admins can have four levels of reports

1. Organization Level

This enables admins to measure the organization level KPIs such as class Engagement or Vidya Score and identify which class/batch may need further attention. 

2. Class Level

This report enables admins to analyze one or more classes to understand trends about specific topics or students. This helps you validate or negate any subjective feedback from the students.  

3. Student level

The one-on-one conversations with students can be much more productive with a 360° point of view of the student. This dashboard enables admins to do just that by analyzing students' classroom insights across all the cohorts they are part of

4. Teacher Level

Educators generally interact with multiple batches, and all the batches may not always have similar trends. This dashboard enables admins to understand diversity among teachers’ different batches and identify trends among all the batches they are conducting

3. Students and Parents

Students and parents can access the Student specific reports above to understand learning patterns.
